For reasons of intellectual property, we do not divulge here the details about the structures that lead to biological activity, nor the strategies to improve those activities. The project is related to heterocyclic chemistry and classical medicinal chemistry. We collaborate with the Rega institute for biological activity.

Faculty Department
The Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Science) at KU Leuven University is involved in the organization courses of Bachelor/master of:
- Chemistry
- Biochemistry and Biotechnology (the latter together with the department of Biology).
The Department houses a staff of about 30 professors and has four divisions:

- Quantum Chemistry and Physical chemistry
- Biochemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology.
