I learned so much from my research experience, and outside the lab, I also took Dutch classes, tried Belgian foods, made friends with local students, and did a bit of traveling around Belgium and surrounding countries! Around Thanksgiving, we also had a MidStay Program at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, where we got to meet the other EuroScholars students and present our research projects. During the MidStay Program, I made some new friends, and I also ended up winning a first place award for my research presentation! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience in Europe, and I wish I could have had more time!
